If you smell gas, please contact the gas emergency team immediately on 0800 111999. An Engineer from the Network will attend within the hour and will assess what the issue is at that time.

Whilst waiting for the Engineer please:

• Do not turn off your natural gas at the meter. Only a qualified professional should do this

• Do not try to find or repair the leak yourself

• Do not use any electrical appliances, including cell phones, as they can create sparks that could ignite natural gas

• Do not smoke cigarettes or cigars (including e-cigarettes and vapes) as these can also create sparks that could ignite natural gas
